Student Field Trips

The Explore Cape Cod Educational Program introduces students to the excitement of kayaking and the wonder of the natural world. Through investigations on salt marsh habitats, students paddle to barrier beach environments, where lesson plans have been developed in accordance with the National Standards of Science and Technology.

I really appreciate the way you make the trip a total immersion learning experience. The students learned about the geology of Cape Cod, the ecology of a saltmarsh, the organisms that live on the tidal flats, and perhaps most important, about the wind and the tides. I love the way you teach paddling like a dance. I was so glad you were prepared with extra clothing for the two children that got wet.
